Terms and Conditions
Last updated: September 30, 2026
These terms describe how Medil AI works, including optional health data connections. Medil AI is provided by Medil Health Technologies Ltd, Israel (company no. 514512268). Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
Using Medil AI
Medil AI helps adults organize their medications and personal health information. You are responsible for checking the accuracy of imported or entered information and for keeping your device and its access controls secure. Availability of a feature or a medication catalog may depend on your country, device, provider, and any applicable subscription shown in the app.
Optional health data connections
You choose whether to connect a healthcare provider or Medicare when that connection is offered in the app. For a direct healthcare-provider connection, Medil AI opens the provider's sign-in and authorization flow using SMART on FHIR and OAuth 2.0 with PKCE. You enter your credentials with the source, not with Medil AI. The source decides which records are available, and you can decline authorization.
When you authorize a connection, the app may request patient demographics to bind the correct record and, according to the source's support and your selected import categories, medications, allergies, laboratory results, diagnoses and conditions, visits and appointments, procedures, immunizations, imaging records, and clinical documents. The app reads the records made available and presents them in your personal health record and diary. Medil AI does not write changes back to the source through this connection. Availability of each connection and record category depends on the source and its authorization.
Medicare, when offered as a health data connection, uses CMS Blue Button for coverage and claims rather than a provider's clinical chart. Medicare handles sign-in and asks you to authorize access; Medil AI does not receive your Medicare password. A Medil AI service exchanges the authorization code, keeps access credentials in restricted encrypted server storage, and passes the requested records to the patient record you confirm on your device. The service processes the clinical response transiently and does not retain a server copy of your claims. For other direct healthcare-provider connections, credentials are held in secure device storage and provider-derived records are not sent to Medil AI servers merely by connecting. Credentials are not included in patient-data exports or cloud backups. The Privacy Policy describes these data paths.
Imported records are stored in the selected patient database on your device. The app may retain source FHIR resource data with a displayed record so that its origin and grouping can be checked. Medicare Part A, B, and D claims are displayed as claims. A Part D pharmacy fill is not proof of a current prescription and never creates a medication schedule or dose automatically. Other provider medication and allergy records also remain distinguishable from information you manage yourself. If you separately enable encrypted cloud backup or explicitly submit selected information to an AI feature, the applicable in-app choice and Privacy Policy describe that separate transfer.
In Manage health data connections, you can see connection status, reconnect, disconnect, and separately delete imported data. Disconnecting stops later retrieval; for Medicare it also requests revocation of Medil AI's access and removal of its server-held session. Disconnecting does not automatically delete records already imported. You may also revoke access in the source's account settings. Deleting an imported local copy does not alter the source's original records.
Accuracy and medical decisions
Provider records may be incomplete, delayed, duplicated, corrected later, or presented in a format the app cannot interpret. A successful connection does not mean the app received every record. Check important results, medication instructions, and other care information against the provider's records and with a qualified healthcare professional before acting on them.
Other services
Optional purchases are offered through the applicable app store with their price and duration shown before purchase. The store manages payment and purchase restoration. External healthcare providers, app stores, cloud accounts, and websites have their own terms and privacy practices.
